Disaster and Risk Management Laboratory pursues multidisciplinary research and education for the primary purpose of reducing community vulnerability to disasters and increasing capacity to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from hazard events. We conduct research across a broad range of issues including disaster risk management and policy, disaster prevention technology, and disaster vulnerability and capacity assessment.
