Analysis of the trends of natural disaster damage based on climate change scenario

The purpose of this study is to predict disaster damage in the future through analyzing relationship between climate change and disaster damage. This study is in progress using five kinds of climate change scenario models (HadGEM-RA, RegCM, MM5, WRF, RSM) and disaster damage data.

Examining the level of disaster resilience based on Hyogo Framework for Action Progress Reports

The purpose of this study is to assess the level of disaster resilience in 136 countries based on national HFA progress reports, and to examine factors contributing levels of disaster resilience by analyzing the relationship between past disaster damages and five priorities/socioeconomic factors.

Examination of disaster management education curriculum in higher education institutions in Korea

This research examines the characteristics of disaster management education in higher education institutions in Korea. This research examines disaster-related majors’ curricula, and professors to examine current status of disaster management education in Korea.
